Air & Expedited

Overview

A practical look at air & expedited

Air and expedited options can be considered when a standard ground transit plan does not fit the shipment's schedule. The suitable approach depends on freight characteristics, route and available capacity.

Best suited for

• Time-sensitive replacement parts or replenishment freight
• Shipments with a narrow delivery window
• Freight needing a faster routing review

What we coordinate

We assess the timing and shipment requirements, then help identify an available transportation option and coordinate the required handoffs with providers.

Planning considerations

Cutoff times, cargo size, airport or facility access, and pickup and delivery legs can influence the plan. Transit estimates and capacity require confirmation before booking.
